Dorchester Community Spring Clean-Up

Begins: 4/19/2025
Ends: 4/26/2025

Dorchester Community Spring Clean-up will be from Saturday, April 19th to April 26th. (Dorchester Residents Only)

The dump site will be open Monday through Friday from 1-7 pm and Saturday 9-5 pm.

Accepted Items: furniture, televisions, carpet, mattresses, metal, appliances, batteries, wood WITHOUT nails. (NO PALLETS)

ABSOLUTELY NO WET PAINT OR HAZARDOUS WASTE ITEMS!! NO TIRES, NO LEAD ACID BATTERIES & NO GARBAGE!

* * Attendant on duty has authority to accept or reject items * * 

Hydrant Flushing

Begins: 4/21/2025
Ends: 4/25/2025

The hydrants will be flushed the week of April 21-25 from the hours of 7 am to 3 pm.

Chlorine will be added while flushing, so there may be Chlorine smell.

Food Truck/Pop-Up

Begins: 4/22/2025
Ends: 5/12/2025

Saline County Historical Museum

The Saline County Historical Museum will be hosting "Save Your Life, One Story at a Time" workshop on Saturday, April 26 @ 2 pm. 

Dana Tramba will be speaking. She is an Author, teacher, and speaker from Edmond, Oklahoma. 

Cost is $10. 

Fajita Fiesta

Begins: 4/26/2025 - 5:00 pm
Ends: 4/26/2025 - 8:00 pm

Come and enjoy some Music, Food & Drinks on April 26th from 5-8 pm at the American Legion/Community Hall. 

Dump Site

Begins: 4/28/2025
Ends: 8/31/2025

The Dump site is now open!  

Dump hours will be: Monday & Wednesday 3-7 pm AND Saturday 9 am-5 pm.

We accept branches, leaves, grass clippings, and garden waste.

Recycling is also available there!
