Current Board Vacancy:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to law that a vacancy exists on the Board of Trustees, Village Board, of Dorchester, Saline County, Nebraska, in that, Eric Bird, member of the Board of the Village of Dorchester, Saline County, Nebraska, has resigned from the term elected effective July 7, 2023 and that a qualified registered voter of the Village of Dorchester shall be nominated, as provided by law, by the Board Chairman, for approval by the Village Board, to fill the vacancy created. The remainder of the four year term will end December 2, 2024.

If you are interested in being nominated to fill the vacancy, drop off or mail a letter of interest and resume to the Village Clerk, 701 Washington Ave., PO Box 287, Dorchester, NE 68343. Letters and resumes must be received no later than 4:00 p.m., Thursday, August 3, 2023.
