Splash Pad Hours

The Splash Pad is open!!
Starting Monday, May 12th, the daily splash pad hours will be:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday 10 am - 7 pm
Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday 1 - 7 pm
Just a reminder: If it has wheels, it does not belong at the splash pad!
Please help remind your children!
Dump Site

The Dump Site is OPEN!!
Dump hours are: Monday & Wednesday 3-7 pm AND Saturday 9 am-5 pm.
We accept branches, leaves, grass clippings, and garden waste.
Recycling and a metal trailer are also available there!
HELP WANTED: Assistant Utility Superintendent

The Village of Dorchester is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a full-time Assistant Utility Superintendent. This long-term position will perform duties in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the sewer and water systems: streets; storm drainage; parks; city equipment; public buildings; heavy equipment operations; and other tasks as assigned for the Village of Dorchester. Candidate must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and possess a valid Nebraska driver's license and a clean driving record. State Certification as a Grade 4 Water Operator and a Class L Wastewater Operator license are required (or the ability to obtain proper licensure within 1 year of employment). Preferences for electrical experience. Pay based on experience and certification. Applications will be accepted until July 2, 2026. Village Board Meeting

The Village of Dorchester Board of Trustees will hold their regular monthly meeting on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Farmers Cooperative, Entrance Door #2 at 6:30 pm.
The meeting is open to the public.
